We begin at the German Parliament building, burned down after Hitler’s rise to power, now a bold symbol of modern German democracy.
We then take a short walk through the lush greenery of Berlin's 'Central Park'.
Next we spend time exploring this expansive monument that pays tribute to Soviet soldiers who fell during the Battle of Berlin, and see the first two T34 tanks that entered the city at the end of WWII.
Leaving the Soviet Memorial we walk next down the Straße des 17. Juni to see where Ronald Reagan challenged Mikhail Gorbachev to 'Tear down this Wall!' in 1987, before walking through the portals of Berlin and Germany's most important monument.
