This shore excursion is adjusted to each ship’s docking times, returning with plenty of time to spare before its departure. Our expert team has been organizing these tours for nearly a decade. Meeting at the Warnemünde port, directly in front of your cruise ship. First your tour guide will take you on a brief stroll of the beautiful Warnemünde village.
After exploring the village of Warnemünde we will head to Rostock and then to the old town. We will have a brief guided walk of Rostock old town and see the Town Hall, Boulevard, university, Town wall and gates, Monastery and Merchant's homes.
After the arrival in the town of Schwerin we will take you on a sightseeing tour. We will show you the old town with market square, cathedral, government buildings (federal state government) as well as former residences of the Duke of Mecklenburg.
Next, we will take you to visit the spectacular palace of Schwerin - the Schwerin Castle and its beautiful gardens. Inside we will organize a guided tour or audio guides for all participants. Afterwards you will have some free time for souvenir shopping and lunch.
At the end of the tour we will once again whisk you back onto the ship.
This tour runs with a maximum of 18 people per guide.
You can start this tour at any time of your choice. We recommend starting our shore excursions earliest 30 minutes past docking to allow for disembarkation.
You will be picked up directly in front of your cruise ship. Tour times are adjusted to your ship’s docking times. In the event of heavy traffic, road blockages, special events, or unforeseen circumstances the tour itinerary may be subject to change. We cannot take responsibility for such incidents and refunds will not be provided. At the end of the tour you will be dropped off back at your cruise ship.
